By accessing or using freeautismtest.org ("the Site"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Purpose and scope

Free Autism Test provides free, online self-assessment tools and educational content about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodiversity. The Site is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

Medical disclaimer

The self-assessments provided on this Site are screening tools, not diagnostic tools. They do not replace a professional clinical evaluation and cannot be used to diagnose or rule out autism spectrum disorder or any other medical or developmental condition.

Our assessments are based on published screening instruments (including AQ-10, AQ-50, RAADS-R, and M-CHAT-R) and are designed to help you reflect on traits and behaviors in a structured way. A diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder requires a comprehensive evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional, including clinical interviews, developmental history, and assessment for co-occurring conditions.

Do not make medical, developmental, or educational decisions based solely on the results of a self-assessment on this Site. This Site does not provide medical advice. If you or your child are experiencing symptoms that interfere with daily functioning, consult a licensed healthcare provider.

No professional relationship

Using this Site does not create a patient-provider, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Free Autism Test or its team members. The content on this Site is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account information record with us, such as by submitting your email address after a test, or you must be a parent or legal guardian submitting information on behalf of a minor, including when completing the M-CHAT-R toddler screening. Where a test is taken by someone under 18, no contact information is collected from that person directly.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt
  • Misrepresent the results of a self-assessment as a clinical diagnosis
  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission

Intellectual property

All content on this Site, including text, design, graphics, code, and the self-assessment tools, is the property of Free Autism Test or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

References to DSM-5 criteria and published screening instruments are made for educational purposes. These instruments are the property of their respective authors and publishers, which are not affiliated with this Site.

Accuracy of information

We strive to ensure that the information on this Site is accurate and up to date. However, medical and clinical knowledge evolves, and we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the latest research or clinical guidelines at all times. Content should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for any medical, developmental, or mental health decision.

Governing law

This site is operated by Diverge and Conquer LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
